Just so it's clear to red state Republicans who came from poorly funded education systems, world war two ended when Germany and Japan surrendered unconditionally. Imposed terms came later, but there were no mutual negotiations.

In fact what could count as peace-treaty after WW2 is set in the so called 4+2 agreement which was negiotaed and signed in 1990. If that was meant it is correct, but very few people will set the end of WW2 with germany into the year 1990. Most will take the unconditional surrender in 1945. And then even though there ahve been negiotaions the four winners couldn't agree on a treaty.
