Yes.
Can you tell me where to find these facts and does it also show by age group and race, or post it. Many conflicting numbers are posted on the internet as facts.

Sure. I posted it earlier, but here it is again! Let me know what you think. It's not organized by race, because we were talking about immigration, not race.

It seems you're trying to argue that certain individuals should not be considered citizens?
Are you right in your head? Can you people carry on a conversation without talking nonsense?

The US is a very big place, probably the size of Europe. There are some states with very high murder rates - 70 per 100,000, and some very low like 2 per 100,000. So taking an overall national average is really not informative.

The issue is immigration and where do immigrants fall in these figures. Your claim is that they are less than that national average but that is meaningless.

The US is a very big place, probably double the size of Europe. There are some states with very high murder rates - 70 per 100,000, and some very low like 2 per 100,000. So taking an overall national average is really not informative.

Immigrants commit less crime than citizens is not meaningless.

A more intelligent comment would be:
Immigrants commit less crime PER CAPITA than citizens

Even better would be :
Immigrants commit less crime PER CAPITA than citizens in SOME STATES with high crime rates. BUT, they commit MORE crime PER CAPITA than citizens in Other low crime States.

Just saying 'less crime' means you are not well informed.

I've already addressed this.. It's a rate by definition it's per capita. The denominator is the total group size.

Most of the US are low crime states. There are about 8 to 10 high crime states and the rest are medium to low crime states. Again just using the total group size is misleading. But I guess it is your aim to use statistics to mislead.

States was not the question. Race was not the question.

The question was immigrants. The stats are very clear that immigrants are less likely to commit crimes.

In a few states... yes.
In most of America they will be committing more crime.

Data is available by state so you are wilfully presenting misleading information because it suits your pupose.

No I'm not.. you seem interested in qualifying everything and subdividing people by identity but the main point stands. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes compared to citizens,,, nationwide.

Qualifying, subdividing and identifying racial differences, is the intelligent thing to do. People trying to mislead others will lump everything together to mask individual and racial differences.

That might be the intelligent thing to do if you're discussing things other than what we were discussing. Why do you feel compelled to insert race into everything?

When it comes to crime, race is a critical factor... as you damn well know. Maybe you are taking it personally because you are connected to the race that has the ridiculously high crime rate. You cannot conflate the data otherwise it makes no sense.

The US is a very large country with a diverse population, and crime rates vary drastically from one state to another. In countries where the population is pretty homogenous like say Sweden, crime by immigrants is about 3 times the national average. This is the same in the US when you compare immigrants with low crime states.

Learn to present data truthfully instead of twisting it to suit your feelings.

Is your point just the opposite, immigrant crime rate is higher than the national average PER CAPITA?
