Apparently, over half of child porn can be traced to the US. Around 14% to Russia and 11% to Japan. Around 0.2% is traced to the UK. Not a single Muslim country is represented on the list. Is this as a result of the US attitude that supports ultra-capatalism, or for some other reason?

This can't be true!! How many times have we heard, in this very forum, that it is the Muslims that have paedophile leanings!!

If you can't quote reliable source that can give us the facts that WE want to hear, I suggest you don't post at all!

Well, I did wonder about putting the Muslim line in, but I thought, well heck, they get so much flak about how repressive their society is, I really should do something to redress that balance, however slightly. They might be tough on crime, or even individuality to some extent, but at least it's keeping these kids safe.

Aren't these sites just hosted in the US?
Doesn't really mean they are US sites.
Because of liberal freedom of speech laws, the US is popular for hosting sites which would be banned in other countries.

Or lax policing? I don't think sexual child abuse comes under the umbrella of "free speech"

Neither do I, but I think the liberal free speech laws lead to lax web site hosting censorship.

The data doesn't lie, but the way a news report is given often does.

The hypocrisy is that they protect themselves by posting this paragraph:

The IWF, which is based in the UK, said that the reason why the US hosted the majority of illegal content was because the country has the most ISPs and the most web traffic in the world.

While posting a big headline like this:

US 'worst' for online child abuse

More than 50% of online images of child abuse reported to an internet watchdog can be traced to the US, a report says.
------------------------
That's deliberately done in, my opinion. The truth wouldn't make such a big headline.

From all accounts in many an instance to be indoctrinated to hate, to see democracy and the US as the embodiement of evil, the corrupt satanic force that undermines the will of all that is good.

Yep they are safe and free from sex abuse allright. Pity they may not get to enjoy their life all that much spending all that time burning a self righteous flame in opposition to making any independent choices.

Mmm.

Deep inhale...

Muslim society keeping kids safe.

What's your definition of "safe"? Is it safe when a Muslim woman's head is cut off because she tried to teach her daughter to read? Is Muslim society keeping kids safe when Muslim girls have to play soccer behind a walled fort in Afghanistan oday, from run-of-the-mill dim bulb to full-blown Islamic fundamentalist sympathizer.
Perhaps you should read (I know it's a hard concept) before you spout off. Here is a good start.

http://islam.about.com/cs/law/a/c_punishment.htm

You'll notice that the death penalty is only sanctioned for murderers, or those who commit crimes against God. Sounds alot like western law strangely.

You, Sasquatch, are just doing a Chancre, and attempting to equate the actions of a few with the will of the many. How well does Timothy McVeigh represent Christianity? Or the Westborough Baptist Chruch? How well does GW Bush represent Christianity? How well does Harold Shipman represent GPs (MDs in the US)? How well does Adolf Hitler represent the average German? How well does every sick, twisted, murderer or rapist represent their religion, or nationality, or profession? Not too well, one would think. But, unlike you, I do not see fit to brand them all the same way.

Would you prefer the headline "US ISPs more okay with Kiddie Porn than anyone else"? Of course news organisations put hard hitting headlines on big stories, but does that fact that over 50% of Kiddie porn websites are hosted in the US mean nothing to you?

HYPOCRITE ALERT - HYPOCRITE ALERT - HYPOCRITE - ALERT

Attempts to brand a whole country and those that practice a moral philosophical system(capitalists) as pedophiles and pedophile condoners.
