What are people's views on the tape supposedly made by a member of American Al-Qaeda? My thoughts when I heard about it were that the purpose (if genuine) was to try to get Bush re-elected, as Al-Qaeda believe that his foreign policy suits there cause better than Kerry's would. It also strikes me that it is very conveniently timed for Bush.

The video of bin laden was a highly crafted piece of work.
Can anyone figure out what his real message to the american public was? Hint: I have yet to see any news pundit work this one out, so dont bother parroting the news.

PS. I dont know so much about the other tape, but it looks to me like it may have been used as a litmus test for bin laden's tape.
