You will not get an honest discussion about this in the western news media. The USA invaded part of Syria and still occupies that oil rich part of Syria. Resistance to that occupation has increased recently. If you want to know why they are fighting the US occupation of Syria just imagine them using the same reasons the west uses to justify a proxy war in Ukraine against Russia. If they don't fight the USA now they will not stop there. The USA will try to take over the entire middle east. That is what the west says about Russia and Europe. If the west does not fight Russia now in Ukraine Russia will take over Europe. That is what the Putin haters say. The same people who have Trump derangement syndrome have Putin derangement syndrome. They buy into that logic so it should be easy to imagine Palestinians buying into that logic as well.

It isn't as if the Palestinians need a lot of convincing the USA is an evil empire. Reagan convinced the American people that the USSR was an evil empire and he didn't even have an honest liar like Trump to point to like the Palestinians do. You cannot tell them the USA has their best interests at heart. They are not stupid. They notice stuff like this:
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/nov/13/donald-trump-syria-oil-us-troops-isis-turkey
I know there are some Americans that will say "good, we should take the oil". To them I ask who is "we"? I am an American and I do not benefit in any way from my government stealing Syrian oil. People need to lose this "we" mindset. My criminal government does not represent me. I have no doubt somebody benefits from the stealing of oil, but it is not me.
Do you benefit from the stealing of Syrian oil? If not all you are getting out of it is a terrorism problem and less tax money spent at home because some cad benefits from stolen oil at our expense. After all, to steal oil from Syria they have to use us taxpayer's money to do it, so they are stealing from us to steal from Syria.
It is not like we are getting a cut from the profits of this stolen oil. All we are getting from this is screwed. I don't even know where this Syrian oil is going. All I know with confidence is that it is being sold for US dollars.
I want the Putin haters to imagine every reason to support fighting Russia in Ukraine to apply to fighting the USA in Syria. Now, what do you propose we do about this? Should we be like Putin and stubbornly occupy part of another country?
And guess who pays to fight the terrorist problem this oil stealing policy in the middle east creates? We Americans. Screwed again!
"We" do not benefit from any of this crap, but a good portion of "we" do get screwed big time. So to all my fellow Americans who say good and follow it up with "we", take your team loyalty and shove it up your ass. The oil thieves are not loyal to anybody. Do they deserve your loyalty after screwing you over?
Iran probably feels it must fight a proxy war with Israel and their puppeteer the USA. Fight them there before here logic. We westerners bought into that logic, so why not them? The Palestinians know that Israel is a puppet of the USA. They are not fooled. Why do you think terrorists attack Americans because of the USA's support of Israel? Even if you reject that Israel is a puppet nation of the western empire the Palestinians ain't buying it. And why should you expect them to believe that crap if I don't? I am an American and even I am not buying that crap.
End the occupation of Syria. They will not stop fighting it and it will only get worse. And guess who will pay for that. Haven't you noticed that the people that benefit from this oil stealing never have to pay for any of it? Haven't you noticed that the people that do NOT benefit from this oil stealing pay for it? Get ready to pay more if you do not stop this occupation.
The USA occupies about 1/3 of Syria, but that is not enough for the American imperialists, they want all of Syria, Lebanon and eventually Iran. Wesley Clark said so. Don't think the Muslims have not noticed this too. Here is an article about it from Al Jazeera.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2003/9/22/us-plans-to-attack-seven-muslim-states
Now all the USA needs is a good terrorist attack on the US. That would be the perfect excuse to put a lot of troops in the middle east. Blame it on Hezbollah to invade Lebanon and then the rest of Syria. The American imperialists need to plan a good false flag attack on itself for an excuse to invade Lebanon and Syria. They are good at planning those. Look up Operation Northwoods. The American people should be wise to false flags by now but they are not and as long as they keep believing false flag events are just conspiracy theories they will keep happening. If the naive public keeps buying it why not keep doing false flag events?
Get ready for another 911 type event. Another intelligence failure. We knew the warning signs were there but the FBI didn't tell the CIA and the CIA didn't tell.....you know. People will believe anything after the fact. It is better than being called a tinfoil hat wearing nut. Intelligence failure. Go with that instead even though you don't believe Epstein killed himself in prison. Maintain you don't believe in conspiracy theories except that one.
The problem is that people do not have courage to be honest. Everyone believes in conspiracy theories but they don't want to admit it. They don't have the courage to admit it because there is always someone who will jump at the chance to ridicule you for your honesty. And that someone will always be a hypocrite. Ask them if they believe Epstein killed himself in prison. Notice how they evade the question.
@metal-brain saidIf believing this next level conspiracy theory, that every one believes in your conspiracy theories but refuses to admit it, makes you feel more comfortable in your head then so be it.
Everyone believes in conspiracy theories but they don't want to admit it.
@divegeester
What conspiracy theory are you talking about? Puppet governments?
Are you denying puppet governments exist or just that the USA is not pulling any strings? Reagan invaded Grenada because he claimed it was a puppet of the USSR and Cuba. Was that a conspiracy theory? Yes, it was.
Our foreign policy is guided by conspiracy theories. I cannot think of anything that makes conspiracy theories more credible than our foreign policy being based on them. Reagan claimed that because Cubans were building an airport in Grenada it must be for a military base. He invaded Grenada because of a conspiracy theory.
@metal-brain saidSyria asked for help fighting ISIS in 2014, and about a dozen or so nations responded. When you have fundamtalists Islamic groups in your country and do not deal with them decisively and firmly then you are to blame for creating your own mess.

Its a weakness of human nature in that they only know how to be friendly in bad times when they need help. When things improve they forget who was there when they were in need.
@metal-brain saidYour assertion that “everyone believes in conspiracy theories but refuses to admit it”.
@divegeester
What conspiracy theory are you talking about?
What I actually quoted you as saying 🙄

@jj-adams said"Syria produces a tiny amount of oil"
"Oil rich part of Syria"?
Syria produces a tiny amount of oil, just .05% of the rest of the world.
(Five hundredths of a percent)
30,000 barrels a day, hardly worth bothering with, and the US isn't getting any of it anyway.
Of course. Most of it was stolen. The US military controls it now.
The USA bothered with it. Tell my government they should leave because it is hardly worth bothering with.
"and the US isn't getting any of it anyway."
Even worse. Our tax money is being used to steal something we never get here at home. Like I said, all we are getting is screwed. Thanks for helping me prove my point.
@metal-brain saidThe next time a civil war breaks out and ISIS clobbering them, just make sure the US stays out of the conflict.

@rajk999 saidAgreed. Let Russia clobber ISIS again since the US left ISIS alone since they were fighting Assad. Oh, that is right......Russia is too busy fighting a proxy war in Ukraine so they cannot defend Syria anymore. Now the US is able to invade the rest of Syria without Russia spoiling it for them.
The next time a civil war breaks out and ISIS clobbering them, just make sure the US stays out of the conflict.
Wesley Clark warned us that the US plan was to invade Lebanon, Syria and Iran.
Is that what you want?
@metal-brain saidAre Russia and Putin your heroes?
Agreed.

And it's not a 'proxy war', you moron. Russians are dying in Ukraine every day. Is that why you hate Ukraine?
@divegeester saidNo, your dodge is noted. You keep evading the question because you do not believe Epstein killed himself in prison, otherwise you would answer the question.

Here’s my conspiracy theory: one day you are going to die under a hail of FBI bullets.
