Others have already covered most of these points but I can think of another -- it's patently false to say that Obama wants to increase govt spending. On the contrary, he wants to end the Iraq war as soon as feasibly possible, which will save the country FAR more money than he plans to spend on domestic infrastructure. You gotta look at the national debt bec ...[text shortened]... for military expenses on credit card is no better than paying for them immediately with taxes.
Domestic spending is at least two thirds of federal payroll taxes. Where does the military get funding from?

I think this is one contest he would win hands down.

Who else on these hallowed pages even comes close to his level of bigotry, ignorance and blatant disregard for the truth?
I wouldn't call the man ignorant. He's simply extraordinarily biased and uses a tremendous amount of spin.

Epi, I am so sure that I would bet my entire Pink Floyd collection, which is pretty much my entire "estate" 🙂 , that come November, the only "change we can believe in" America will be ready for is an old war vet with a maverick streak. 😀
Cool, I look forward to pawning your collection so I can buy myself a few more Obama bumper stickers. 😀

I'll pick one of your points and let others tackle the rest. "Productive" seems to all-encompassing a word to describe Obama's plan. Yes he wants to raise taxes, on the wealthiest Americans. The "productive" middle class needn't worry. The plan is good. I won't vote for him, and he hasn't a chance in the world of winning, but that's one policy I'm all for.
My question is what is his definition of the wealthiest Americans? At times liberals act like this is anyone who has a job and pays taxes.

But seriously, if I have a small business and its doing really good and I pull in 250,000 before taxes, does that put me in the 'wealthiest Americans' classification? And lets say I have a dozen people working for me who I'm paying decent salaries. Mr Obama comes along and raise the taxes my business has to pay, the economy slows a bit and I can't increase the size of my business to make up for the extra taxes.

What do you think will happen? I'm going to have to cut my staff to keep the business on a even keel. So who is it thats getting hurt now? Well obviously the person(s) I fired cause they are out of work. I as the business owner am hurt to cause I can;t expand due to lack of capital. I don't have enough staff to take on more customers, or to buy equipment and supplies. So as the business owner looking to grow my business, hire more people etcetc.

So you think FDR caused WWII?

Well, that's just wrong. The causes of WWII were many, including the rise of fascism, a growing Japanese empire, European bitterness over Versailles, the worldwide Depression (which FDR actually helped solve), and the ineptitude of the League of Nations.

Obama doesn't "protect criminals." He hates Palestine more than McCai ...[text shortened]... Katrina. Did he? Is he just inept, or was that part of a plan to destroy the lower classes?
How exactly do you know Obama hates Palestine and Palestinians? Does he call you up and confer this knowledge on you personally? Are you one of his foreign policy advisers?

As for Katrina, nothing could have protected New Orleans for a class 5 hurricane, especially when the area is below sea level and shaped like a bowl. People think the flooding that we recently seen is bad ... magnify that quite a bit and you get Katrina
