Second paragraph:
The details emerged as the Air Force was called to explain a March stopover in the Scottish resort -- with Democrats on the House Oversight Committee writing to Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan as part of their investigation into alleged conflicts of interest by the president.
Emphasis mine. So in other words, the controversy is not about the US Air Force refueling at the Scottish airport in question, it's about Air Force personnel staying at the Turd Emperor's (failing) Scottish golf resort.
Air Force personnel should have been called upon to stop using the Mango Messiah's crappy resort, per the emoluments clause, as soon as possible after his swearing in. It would be a simple matter of undoing what the Obama administration did (which is otherwise one of Der Trumperfuror's specialties). In fact this is one of those bread-and-butter things a presidential "transition team" is supposed to have all figured out before the swearing in. At least if the president-elect isn't an utterly corrupt grifter.
If you can't see the conflict of interest that's your problem.

they're like chicken littles telling us the sky is falling. I tried to show them the USAF was using that port long before Trump got in there.
As far as the USAF personnel using Trump's resort, they'll claim that is a *crime* yet never show anything pointing to Trump ORDERING the USAF to us his resort.
In other words, Mott, same old democrats, trying to make chicken soup out of chicken shat.
And sonhouse, ya listening...? "corruption at the highest levels" would be Obama signing off on a $700 Billion banks bailout. Ya.

There is still the issue of standing military regs in ALL branches of US military to refuel at military bases BECAUSE taxpayers like you and me benefit from those planes refueling at a lower cost and there in fact has been found by the Scots government a business arrangement by Trump that the refueling there has resulted in 11 MILLION in refueling cost going directly into that airport BESIDES the issue of airmen going to Trumps failing golf courses.
And it is also emerging, data showing that Scots resort is only one of a bunch of such instances of blatant corruption by trump,
That is not the only instance of planes landing just oh so coincidentally at Trump businesses.
