I just read this snippet of news and it stopped me in my tracks as i tried to get my head around what is must be like there at the moment..

"3,600 civilians killed in July"

Over three and a half thousand deaths! Madness..
How can we even envisage any kind of stability there when this chaos seems to be just escalating, despite the hollow "beating the terrorists" messages coming from the western politicians..

Where is this disaster headed and what is going to happen when Bush and Blair leave office?

...and at what point will Bush know whether he has won or lost the war on terror? What will the signs be? Or is WW3 inevitable, and when will that end? Perhaps now even he can see the advantages of an exit strategy.

Most are being killed by fellow Moslems. Then again it is a religion of peace.🙄
