As if Trump University wasn't enough, a new lawsuit filed in federal court Monday accuses President Donald Trump and his children of convincing consumers to invest in get-rich-quick schemes, while also accepting “large, secret payments” from the companies they were pitching.

According to the lawsuit, which was first reported by the New York Times, the Trumps were paid to pitch prospective investors on behalf of three companies that they said would likely offer commercial success. "The Message was materially false. The Investments did not — and could not — offer a reasonable probability of success," the lawsuit states.

At the same time Trump was endorsing ACN, he also secretly received “millions of dollars in secret payments” from the company in the form of speaking fees and appearances, according to the complaint. Trump featured prominently in the company’s magazine and blog and attended at least 14 events in the U.S. and overseas, the lawsuit states.

Dirty little secrets, dirty little lies. He's got his dirty little fingers in everybody's pie!

Yet his followers still worship him like GOD. I just don't get it. 🙄

That isn't of itself corrupt. The complaint about Trump is that he and his family received secret payments in return for endorsing these schemes. Since May's husband's directorships are publicly known they are in a separate category. You need to show that the companies receive favourable treatment (I've no idea whether they do or not) before claiming the relationship is corrupt.

Well that is what American politics is all about. Obama enters the Oval Office worth around a million and leaves $30 million strong

Good for him!

Along with folks around politics like Ford and Kaepernick, etc.

I bet they both secretly love Trump as well.

At least Trump does not pretend to not be in the top evil 1% and is actually proud of the money he has made.

Earth to Whodey!! - Earth to Whodey!!

This might sound like Liberal bias, but fraud is illegal, and not something one should be proud of.
