They really want to limit the rights of citizens and force big corporations to rule the country.

They have to be stopped COLD. They are a threat to our real democratic way of life.

Force!?

Big corporations want to run the world for their profit, and they already do run your country for their profit. They're not being made to do anything they are not already eager to do.

(By the way, whatever the truth of its contents - from a technical POV, that is one s#%^ty website. Some SuperPAC buy them a webmaster, please.)

@Shallow-Blue....ALEC actually writes muchof the legislation that is routinely
passed by Congress. Congresspeople complain that they 'haven't' the time to review every item in these, at times, massive pieces of legislation.....

Of course, it plays right into the hands of your handlers. You might even get a raise out of the hell you are trying to cause in the US. It is really too bad I can't see you in person.

Cover your child’s ears if she is with you upon meeting Sonhouse! Although, it will be a good introduction in life to what unbridled anger looks like.....

Some may exhibit anger, but that only needs a good venting. Then good old examination of the obvious evidence can show that for all its merits, western style capitalism is vulnerable to becoming an ideology centered on short term shareholder profit at the expense of other values. Even we who benefit financially can see this. Look around.

Here we go again....slamming corporations, who just made and sold you your computer for peanuts. Oh, you like them OK, but don't want citizens to be able to invest in them, or be able to sit on the boards and run them?? That leaves Eliz Warren, then, I guess to run the corporations, with an office right down the hall from the other government-run entities. Like Am-Track, or the post office. What a colorful society ole Jim619 has envisioned for us!

Yep, lets kill the EPA completely, don't stand for just the evisceration Trump just pulled on it. We NEED to go back to the 19th century where we have 14 hour workdays and companies dumping poisonous waste into our water supplies.
Sure, that's the ticket. Let those corporations get away with ANYTHING they want since they are SO altruistic, so CARING of the little man. Little men like Average Joe's for instance. Tell me, how much do they pay you to dis everyone in favor of big corp? Does the opiod crisis say ANYTHING to you? Big Pharm becoming America's pusher? I guess that is WAY ok for the likes of you.

OK, Sonhouse, just tell us what you want the government to do to make you happy. But, dont talk too much about regulations, or the corp will go bust and you wont be able to upgrade you MacBook Air.

Are you forgetting about the part that government is supposed to PROTECT citizens, not throw them under the bus of big Pharm? When big Pharm gets folks INTO government what the FUK do you THINK will happen? Protection of citizens out the window is what happens. Why do you think we don't have 14 hour work days anyway? Do you think it was because corporations are SO altruistic they saw they were wrong and just took it in their own hands to rectify a bad situation?
Why do you think mining is safer now? You think it was mining companies so concerned over their miners they just upgraded things on their own? What the hell makes you so blind to the excesses of corporations that they never need regulating?
Regulating is about protecting citizens. But according to you, all it does is keep me from getting the latest hardware from Apple.
Grow some balls for a change and look around you.

Corps have plenty of regs that they must follow. Aint perfect, and dime are definitely bad. So there are penalties for violations. Not much else to say, legislators wiser and more knowledgeable than us are all we have to depend upon. I am avid fly fisherman. What makes you think i am for corporate ruination of our environment?

@HandyAndy
Avid flies are the VERY hardest to catch. Especially on the fly, the size of the hook is about 1/10th of a millimeter.....But they are very tasty I hear.
