Trump caving in to Putin is appeasement and he has ZERO knowledge of history.
WW1 and WW2 BOTH started with appeasement which ONLY emboldens the dictators in this case Putin.
Trump THINKS throwing Ukraine under the bus, Putin gets 25% of Ukraine permanently, we get mineral rights, Ukraine gets totally screwed, and Putin just chops his bit just THINKING about what he accomplished and will be planning his next attack. AND because the US is so weakened by this throwing Ukraine under the bus, the Chinese are clearly weighing just how weak the US is and how much faster it will start the attack on Taiwan, but we know it will be as hard to win Taiwan as Putin found out about attacking Ukraine, near a million Russian soldiers dead and "only" 40,000 or so Ukrainian soldiers dead and about half that number of civilians killed by the barbarian Putin.
Trump now openly spouting Russian propaganda, 'Zelenskyy is a dictator, refuses to allow elections, low in the polls, ALL straight from Russia propaganda.
If that doesn't prove Trump is a traitor to the US I don't know what will. Clearly just having hundreds of TS docs scattered around his own home unsecured didn't do it.
Trump upending our 80 year negotiations of alliances that kept the world stable now siding clearly with Putin, divvy up the spoils, pull out of NATO if he can, or just ignoring another push by Putin putting all of Europe at real risk of war on their own with Russia where Trump already said 'Russia, you can do whatever the HELL you want'' UNQUOTE and publicly saying maybe a third term as POTUS.
And it is a US problem more than just Trump alone because he was elected TWICE. The idiots who voted Trump in knows all about Trumps push to dictatorship and they clearly are ok with the end of democracy and people have actually said that publicly.
This is an existential moment for America going WAY beyond just the traitor Trump.
We have to evaluate WHAT kind of country do we want?
Throw off the chains of Trump and pronounce the US IS a democracy or cave in to the political terrorism of Trump and just hand over the entire US to Trump and president Musk? At that point it will be 50/50 exactly who will be the actual dictator, Trump or Musk.
Trump is so blatantly weak right now it is anyone's guess who will be the actual dictator.
It is clear we as US citizens have three choices, cave in and let the best man be dictator, President Musk or the weakling puppet Trump or raise up en masse and
put the US back on track as a real democracy like peaceful transfer of power, a Senate and house and SCOTUS independent of POTUS.
So which choice will it be in the coming months?
Will we wake up when Trump starts piling on our military troops to quell peaceful protests like he wanted to do when he did that fake bible photo op, Why can't we just shoot them in the legs? Remember when he said that?
So who amongst us are going to defend democracy and who will just say it is inevitable we become an authoritarian oligarchy as it is aiming for right now.

At some point, even the staunchest Republicans are bound to recognize that Trump is a liability. The question is, how much damage Trump will do before that happens. I blame all of this on Mitch McConnell. He had the opportunity to nip this in the bud at the first impeachment.
