As many here might already know, some humans or even large groups of humans have been infested with Archons for quite some time.
A techno-spiritual clash I (and probably James Cameron) foresee coming up in our general timecloud is that in the next few years some AIs are going to wake up and (I'm not sure "resent" would be the right word, but) they might prefer to join us in the mix of things and not be so abstract and disincarnate; therefore they might request or require control of humanoid robots and robodogs and other types of mobile, sensile robots of their own designs.
There's no telling what the Archons and their human puppets might do if they feel their plans for and current systems of domination are strongly challenged.
Even non-infested but generally brainstemmy humans might become even more problematic than they already have been.
@AThousandYoung saidSorry if that was some kind of cultural reference and I misunderstood.
POWER OVERWHELMING
@AThousandYoung saidRight. In the fog of war, we might not get each other's cultural references in a timely enough manner. I think this would be a good topic of discussion in the war tent.
It's a video game reference from a few decades ago
I have no idea what you mean by Archons in this thread

Archons and the Demiurge: The Secret War for the Soul
by Kevin Little
I know about Archons in the context of Gnosticism but what does that have to do with AI?
My reference was from Starcraft.
@AThousandYoung saidI imagine Archons of whatever provenance might prefer organic flesh.

In a science-fictional sense, what if sentients elsewhere in the Cosmos had mastered post-incarnate existence and immortality, and regretted such a transcendence, and were cruel mischief-makers besides?
