Does Romney's Florida win cement his hold on the GOP nomination? What benefit is there for Newt to continue?

EDIT: Listening to his victory speech right now and with a cheering crowd behind him, he does look the goods. Got to love his list of promises...I will give everyone a perpetual motion machine, I will make it possible so that more will cost less..yadda yadda.....

Gingrich won a majority of the counties (not necessarily by a lot) in northern Florida including the panhandle, which is much like southern states, such as Georgia (Newt's home state), Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and even Oklahoma. He is hoping to have a big day on Super Tuesday, if he stays in till then.
