During election campaigning, Government made a key claim that asylum-seekers threw their kids overboard. They only admitted this was wrong 3 months after election. In fact, Howard's department knew that just 2 days after the claim was first made [ABC-TV 13/2/2002]
WAR - DISREGARD, MISLEAD & JEOPARDIZE US
* Despite 1 Million Australians marching against war - representing 50% of all Australians - Howard called us a mob who gave Saddam comfort [ABC-RADIO 17/2/03, GUARDIAN 1/10/03, ABC-TV 20/2/03]
* Misled on weapons of mass destruction, we were sent to attack Iraq [SMH 16/9/3]
* Government raised our exposure to terrorism. The opera house also became a terrorist target, whilst upset people were jailed for painting No War.
OUR REP'S - STOPPED BY PHYSICAL FORCE
Indecently & undemocratically, government used physical force against Australian rep's and stopped delivery of a petition to George Bush [SMH 24/10/2003]

I don't vote (underage), but I follow the government closely...some of what he said is true, and Mr Howard is going a bit off centre, but bluntly put, this is plain propaganda.
Mr Howard was not part of the misled theory on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That the the US's fault...kinda sorta.
Those people painting were arrested under defacement of public property...graffiti's a crime!

Forget about the paint. What about the risk to the Opera House's structure, the risk to the public, the recent absence of garbage bins on our railway stations, etc.
