...Not that its homophobic to call him republican or democrat, but to call him 'Barney the Purple Dinosaur' is a bit how you say... maybe a bit mocking of his great office, no?

Barney is actually an amazing American success story where a group of undervalued American teachers freed themselves from a life of quiet desperation with a box of dye, a lazily strummed guitar, and prescription anti-depressants before selling out to an international media empire that let the 'purple' one slowly die. (Actually, it is almost exactly like the Herman Cain story - only more credible.)

It's only with Herman Cain, that I can agree with the new ruling, that sees pizza classified as a vegetable....

If Bush 2 had chosen Barney as his representative, I doubt the populace would have blinked. But what plush proxy would Clinton have picked?

Jon Stewart: Barney Frank is the "everything bagel" of what conservatives love to hate.

“Losing Barney Frank is the worst thing that could happen to conservatives,” Stewart said. “He is the perfect avatar of everything they hate: gay, Jewish, ‘tax-achusetts,’ arrogant, condescending, liberal. He’s your everything bagel.”

A cigar is just a smoke but a good bagel is a confirmation that hope is possible in this old and tired world.
