Bedbugs were all but eradicated in the US too until they started making a comeback in large cities, along with a few diseases that were almost never seen until you-know-who started invading America by the millions each year..

@moonbus saidMore like America should. Tonnes of DDT in the 50's pretty much wiped out bed bugs in the US. But the downside was DDT super resistant bed bugs that survived. Given the way they proliferate in beds and hotels and are vectored around the planet by travelers, you can obviously draw a long bow and say the root cause of the French bed bug apocalypse is American super resistant bed bugs. And given the profile of travelers from the US to France we can obviously deduce "who" is doing the spreading.....
Ban beds! Immediately! Make Mexico pay for it!
