Week 14 Victory

All believers are subject to temptation. But victory can be yours if you use the resources available.

1. Circle key words and phrases in the following Scriptures.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:13

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
1 JOHN 4:4

This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 JOHN 5:3–4

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
GALATIANS 5:16

* I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
PSALM 119:11

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in
Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
2 CORINTHIANS 2:14

RB - Temptation is a terrible thing!!!
I came back from the pub tonight in desperate need to eat something. Pub goers will know this Friday night feeling. 🙂 I'm trying to lose the Christmas excess - But temptation got the better of me (Damn you Satan!) 6 pints of real ale not withstanding, I thought bollox to the diet, I need to eat.
I headed for the fridge.
In my ravenous state I opened the fridge. Only to find it bare except for an egg, that someone in the family had cracked into a glass and then decided not to eat and left there. Yumm!

AAAArrrggghhhhh!!! I have just spent 30 mins trying to fry half an apricot. Surely there is no god. And if there is he does not go boozing on Friday night and understands nothing about hunger/beer/temptation/satan/eggs/apricots!!!!!

Apologies if this post make no sense - I'm as drunk as a f@rt! 🙄 Good Night 😛
