Hey, I hear you. You are correct of course. But I detect a bit of a control factor in your post. There is your issue of gas guzzlers, but you seem to be falling into the lib penchant of telling people what to do, free people, the USA people. They will make their own decisions, thankyou. Then, car makers will follows the wishes of society and provide what they want.
You truly think it is OK for govt to dictate such matters. It is not in the Constitution. I cannot believe we are so far apart on this one. Imagine a headline tomorrow, 'Govt Restricts Auto Production" or some such. It is none of gov business. How far will you fellers go in restricting choice? And why do you think that government (Dems) know best. You think govt can spend our money better than we can, but I guess that is for another thread.

As to what things (gas, in this case) cost in a total 'nother country, what in the WORLD does that have to do with the USA? Lord, Zahlanzi will be next about the cost of sausage in Romania,, which may be less than it is in the USA. Then we would have to discuss slaughtering, distribution, and how much smaller the country is......AND, that they don't have a senile old puppet running things.
