That article is from shortly after the pandemic. Biden helped the U.S. return to form much more quickly than other nations did.
Simply put, Biden has spent the last 3 years cleaning up Trump's mess; and given that Trump inherited an economy doing well from Obama, that makes Trump's failures even more significant.

Last year people predicted that we would currently be in a recession. That did not happen. Unemployment near 50 year lows. Inflation is slowing. Thanksgiving is cheaper this year than last year.
