Biden claimed that he had no choice because congress allocated the money for the wall so he has to spend it on that. Sanctions on Venezuela is causing the border problem to be as bad as it is. The problem could be substantially reduced if Biden just ended those sanctions. The poor people there are just fleeing the economic hardship by coming here.

It is no secret the US government tried to overthrow Venezuela and Cuba. John Bolton practically bragged about it and admitted they wanted to control the oil in Venezuela. I am skeptical that Biden had no choice. Is he lying again? He is deporting illegals from Venezuela. The border is a wreck.

@mott-the-hoople saidNot everything is paid with taxes. We borrow the money or create it out of nothing which causes inflation. It is the interest that has to be paid on the debt that is the problem. Eventually the money supply will have to be increased (money from nothing) to tax people with inflation to pay the interest and it will never end.

Raising the debt ceiling is just kicking the can down the road. The problem will not go away until we control our spending.

The funds are only for an additional 20 miles, which hardly means "Biden is building the wall" meaning the boondoggle envisioned by Trump.
