Big Brother wants your DNA

Recently an oversight organization warned that there is a semi-covert movement by state and federal government to grab your DNA and claim ownership of every neborn child for the purpose of genetic research and they are not even going to ask for permission. Right now in the state of Minnisota there is a bill in the house and senate that would strip the need for consent that is now necessary under current law.

This should be of no surprise. With continuing escalating health care costs, Big Brother will continue to impose itself on the populace for more and more control in our lives. The reasoning will be that since they are providng us with "free" health care, they will require our help by empowering them to keep us healthy. This means taking our DNA and researching to see what exact health problems we may be predisposed to in the future. As we have seen from the "salt nazis", it will probably also involve telling us what we can and cannot eat. In fact, it would not surpise me that one day we will all be required to exercise. Don't laugh, I heard on the radio that a parent was outraged because their child was asked to document at home how much exercise they were getting at home. If the child failed to keep track or failed to turn in the form, they were mandated to take a gyme class in order to keep them fit.

No doubt once Big Brother hurdles cries over trampling our rights by demanding that we have medical insurance, there will be no end to their intrusions....unless society decides not to put up with it anymore. I'm just waiting for them all to implant chips in us that have our medical information. No doubt, at some point it will be required of all new borns without even so much as a consent form from the parents which would add to the brutal efficiency of our health care system all in the name of "cutting costs".

Apparently the Minnisota state senate has already passed a bill that would permit judges to order ex-cons to turn over a sample of their DNA who had never been asked to do so before. If necessary, they can be hunted down if they fail to comply and be forced to give it up. Perhaps this was the trial case for the next step. Apparently no one flinched.

So where is the ACLU I wonder? Don't they typically come running to the rescue of law breakers? Oh, thats right, they have their hands full trying to protect illegals coming over the border.
