Today Boeing’s CEO Denis Muilenburg “stepped down” with the company stating it needed a fresh leadership.

Comment: I should think so. Two of your planes fell out of the fuking sky killing 346 people and ever since you’ve been sticking up for them (the planes) and promising shareholders that the grounded fleet will be flying again despite being under regulatory investigation and implying that Boeing are in control...when clearly they are not. And rightly so.

Meanwhile, last month the CEO of MacDonnalds was sacked for shagging an employee.

Call me old fashioned, but is something not quite right here?

A good move by Boeing. There has to periodically be a house cleaning. Note that the stock went up over 3% today. I think there’s nothing wrong. Bowling is not going anywhere, deserves a good look.

Boeing is screwed. I don't knowhow long it will take to recover but it will cost this company billions.

They have 400 MAX planes in storage. the problem is not the plane, it's the software. That can be fixed but the FAA will hold up sales for a long time to come.

Seems so, it appears that The Duchess is taking a stab at a bit of levity. I will give it a go.

Duchess, your thing with "(sic)"........ This tells me you are one of those oddities that actually clicks on those thumb-up, thumb-down things in the upper right corner. Do you really feel a high when you do that? Think about that. What person would do that? Is this a secret society? .I hope it is SOME kind of a society for you to be a part of.

I absolutely love the beatles ( uh oh, no cap for the B, but the more erudite among us will gloss over that, am sure). I greatly miss the genius of John Lennon, for the record. Have you ever sat at Strawberry Fields and imagined (get it? Imagined?) what other songs, music, lyrics were there in his mind for us to enjoy? I would personally have executed his killer if they'd have let me. No problem. I got a gun, too.

So, where were we? Bowling? I have never been bowling, maybe someone else will chime in. I play golf, and a lot of other things, but if I told you, you might guess who I am. And you could, if I told you.

Fault the value of Boeing to your peril!!!! Remember when VW screwed up, and had about 6 board members convicted and sent to jail? Boeing was about $450 not long ago........How can one possibly think it will not go back there in a year or so?? VW went back even quicker than that, as did Carnival Cruise. Carnival dropped when they drowned about 35 people. How quickly that was forgotten. It is up about 35%^ since then. Memories are short. Or, you can think Boeing is going to Shut Its Doors!!!

But, not worth discussing. Now, mis-types and take offs on the similarities of the word Bowling and Boeing is great fodder.

You think that crashing two passenger aircraft into the ground and killing 350 people is comparable to VW faking their emissions testing?

Boeing will certainly survive there is too much establishment money involved (I suspect) for it not to.

Let’s not forget the juxtaposition with Maccy Dees guy allowing his knob to lose him his job.

- sex with a consenting adult - YOUR FIRED

- mismanage and airline to the point of two preventable disasters and hundreds of customers being killed - meh the planes will be up in the air by Christmas. Oh yeah and err...sorry.

There is no consent in a boss - worker relationship.

- Working party 29 (now called the EDPB).

However, they’re not the only body in the world to make this very clear.

That’s why you must keep your dirty fingers off of staff.
One may think it’s consent, but if someone holds your wages and your job and your livelyhood in their grubby little paws... one may very well be mistaken.

Yeah he deserve to go, I’m not arguing that. I’m just creating a juxtaposition with Boeing.

Is the man personally responsible for two planes coming down? Or is he the fall guy, because he’s the manager?

He is the CEO Shav, the role carries a huge salary as well as legal and moral accountabilities.

Seriously, do I have to explain this or are you just trolling me?
