    It would be a “horror,” a “disaster,” according to lawyer Kenneth Feinberg, who was appointed by President Barack Obama to administer BP Plc’s $20 billion compensation fund for victims of the Gulf oil spill. “That is not an option.”

    Feinberg was talking about a bankruptcy filing by BP in a Fox News interview.

    “Bankruptcy absolutely is an option, and the U.S. needs to recognize that,” said Peter Kaufman, president and head of restructuring and distressed M&A at the Gordian Group, an investment bank in New York.

    Thomas Sowell, a commentator you often quote, zeeblebot, insists that the Government administering the $20 billion fund being provided by BP to compensate people harmed by their oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, makes Obama comparable to Adolf Hitler and that this move is similar to how the Nazis took power in the 1930s.

    It is clear to me this is going to be MUCH more than a 20 billion dollar fix. My guess is more like 100 billion. That much money is going to come from guess who...

    It really says wonders to Bush Jr's legacy since the republicans are the ones who allowed the slipshod safety measures to be allowed in the gulf oil rigs.

    As much as you may want to vilify the Obama administration, it was Bush that got us here.
