Squashing misinformation is not censorship.

I've gone over this with you in the Science forum. The scientific method is all you need to know about squashing misinformation. If a paper has been subjected to the scientific method and been refined, it's not misinformation. But if there is no scientific method employed and the data instead came out of someone's ass, then it is misinformation and should never see the light of day. This is science, it is not censorship.
