I will take the contrary position.

No, they should not nor should any country. IF the military is uncertain where their missiles are going to land, it will make them less likely to launch them in the first place thus reducing the chance of war and saving countless lives (of non-Iranian non-sailors anyway).

Actually it was a quite clear case of human error (fired the missile too early)….so?
