The ONLY thing you need to remember in this situation is: Donald Trump wants something from him. He needs his support in order to make billions from putting up other billionaires in his "soon to be" hotel in Saudi Arabia. He needs the Prince to okay it before he can make a dime from doing that.
Therefore, lying Donald with no morals will do and say ANYthing he has to in order to bring that about. The crime here is that he can and will use American assets in order to get whatever he wants to make his dream happen. In order to make billions in his personal bank account. He's shamelessly using his position in the US government to enrich himself.
THIS IS ILLEGAL.
