Jerry Sandusky is a well known child molester, but I don't see much about Bryan Singer. If Singer isn't getting the same kind of treatment as Jerry, I wonder what is the difference.

I think the two cases are very similar in one regard. Once Sandusky had completed his obligations to the university and Joe Pa had received his land mark record wins in college football, only then did the revelations come out.
Likewise, Bryan has a movie coming out May 23 from what I hear. He is also a young director whom many people have a large amount of money invested in. I think it possible that once the movie industry has "used him up" they might throw him to the wolves like Sandusky was thrown once the University made their money off him.
