Apparently Bush has crawled out from under his progressive rock and is championing the new immigration bill. I guess taking over the Middle East, driving up the deficit, passing one of the largest entitlements in US history, and finishing off the economy and the GOP was not enough for this progressive dinosaur.
Does this clown hold any clout on either side of the political spectrum? Does he not hurt any side that he rallies around?

Because the Religious Right was manipulated into supporting him.

So what is your point exactly?

The 2006 midterms assured that Bush43 could do no further damage, that would not also be done by a Democratic successor. His final strokes in fall of 2008 ended up being duplicated by his successor.
I can look back and I'm not pleased with Bush43, or his attempts to get amnesty passed then, but the alternatives of Gore or Kerry are disturbing.
