Just being a Brit I'm not too up on Roe v Wade. But I find it surprising that the right wants to overturn it. Surely if they just undermine it, snip it round the edges and generally make abortion harder to get, they will achieve fewer abortions.
Whereas if they overturn it they run the risk of giving the left, thousands of housewives votes. They want the right to choose, they want the power to control their bodies.
I can imagine Hilary painting a picture of out of touch republicans, and generating a huge support base within the female voting block.
