Polls don't mean a lot. You still need to overcome the "votes" that Diebold/Premier adds for any Republican candidate.

Obama has 82% of DC. 😵

EDIT: Had... seems DC hasn't updated in a while.

If Obama wins, I predict that the presidency will fall back into Republican control within 12 years. If Obama loses, I predict that the presidency will fall into Democrat control in the next election.

One party just doesn't hold the Presidency for that many consecutive terms.

12 years, way to go out a on a limb.

The last time that one party was in control for longer than 12 years was the 20 that the Dems had from '33 to '53 and that was because of the depression and WWII. Since then the longest that one party was in control was the 12 years that the Republicans with Reagan and Bush senior.

I'm going out on the same limb with the Republicans. Bush has been there for eight. If McCain should find some way to get elected, the Democrats will win the Presidency in the next election.

i dont even think that means anything though as he had at least 27 EVs pulled from him (a huge amount) and only ended up losing by 2 EVs and -500000 votes
