I think in this case the VP would become the acting president for a month.
Not much else would change.
Given what we've been through for the last four years, it wouldn't even be as big of a deal as it sounds.
@kewpie saidNow if he didn't resign and just sat in his bunker refusing to get out of bed, or if he just went completely off the reservation and disappeared, the VP could still have him officially removed via the 25th Amendment. The VP would then assume the office and duties.
