You are a child standing beside a stagnant pond; this is you and the world around you. Your hands are full of stones (ideas). If you chuck one in the water its surface will become disturbed (there for creating a change). The ripples start at the place of impact but soon disperse through out the entire pond. If you chuck the entire handful in...well you get the point, it's a bigger change.
You can change the world; you just have to want to chuck the stones. However, I didn't necessarily say it will alter the way you may have intended it to🙂
