The Canadian Freedom Convoy was a success because it caused a complete lifting of covid restrictions.
Now the Dutch government is saying they will reduce pollution by limiting farmers.
The problem with that is I learned in my recent Environmental Studies course is that China, India, Pakistan and South East Asia cause so much pollution that even if we go Green it won't matter.
Not only that but Africa, so I'm told, will be seeing a lot of new industry so they will also pollute.
So now we have a Dutch Convoy blockade or something...Not sure if they named it yet.
I'm hoping they succeed.
"The country is one of the largest agricultural producers in the world, exporting roughly $97 billion in 2020 worth of fruit, flowers, vegetables, dairy products and meat."

@ron-desantis saidSo they can now be sued for the next covid outbreak?

Great news!
@suzianne saidWho was sued for the previous 6 waves?

Certainly not china because people like you are too scared to be called a racist.
Nothing stopped the spread. Every country regardless of what they tried had covid.
The only reason the USA had so many deaths is because they are by far the most unhealthy nation.
@earl-of-trumps saidI think the food spoils too quickly if we did that and bugs would be a problem due to lack of pesticides...also "local farms" work for rural areas only.
It is one of my dreams to see farmers get back to chemical free agriculture. I know they need to make living, BUT...
Don't quote me on that though 😏
@ron-desantis saidYeah finding “organic” (whatever that means) pest control products is very difficult. I used to grow cannabis professionally and know the headaches involved without using “chemicals”(?)

@ron-desantis saidI remove potato beetles from my potato plants by hand, but that is only practical on small scales. A big potato field would need pesticides to protect the crop. You are right for the most part.

@ron-desantis saidThe Dutch farmers protest has shot itself in the foot.
I'm sure @shavixmir will be there with his flower hat telling the truckers they are big meanies 😏
They had huge support from the general population. But wasted it (by threatening politicians and their children… little things like that don’t really go over well in the Netherlands).
It’s got nothing to do with East Asia, China, etc.
It’s a EU regulation which is causing the effect. Very complicated to explain, so I’m not going to bother you with details you can easily find online.
@shavixmir saidDo you have a poll to prove it?

@metal-brain saidshag doody proof: He got stuck in a traffic jam and saw some signs.
That they have lost support. I don't believe you.
