To lighten the mood: Is it acceptable for a man to think that a cartoon character is attractive? (example: Jessica from Roger Rabbit, or wonderwoman...etc.)
-(lets see how long it takes before this thread somehow turns into a debate on nuclear energy in iran or who doesn't like Bush)

Ok .. let me stick to the topic .. in my opinion there is no harm in appreciating interesting comics/cartoons as its just another artform, Some may find it attractive or even sexy. It might be another thing to fall in love or become obessessed with a particular character though.
I was on the Tube with two friends not long ago, checking out the social version of the Doppler effect that occurs when the conversation goes careening away from anything the listener (me) can possibly relate to. In this case, my friends, who we'll call Matt and Mohammad (because those are their names), were discussing comics.
About thirty seconds after I had totally ceased to understand what they were on about, and at least ten seconds after I'd started thinking about something else entirely, two things happened essentially simultaneously:
1. The packed carriage went dead silent.
2. Mohammad said, clearly and distinctly 'Wonder Woman'.
People looked at them oddly and the silence continued until after they got off.
I suppose you had to be there.
