He often votes for incrementalist bills, especially ones where the Democrats need his vote which prove just inane the "Sanders is a radical who wants to bring down the US" idea is. He is perfectly capable of compromise and , as an european, it cracks me up whenever he is called radical.
He is portrayed as a divisive force in the democratic party but really he is a unifying force between democrats and "others". That he speaks for people who don't consider themselves necessarily democrats. Such a union would easily defeat Trump. Such a union would pretty much defeat any republican.
