Following the disgraceful surrender of Pelosi on that border bill and following instance after instance of her surrendering to republicans, Cenk Uygur calls it like it is: Pelosi isn't representing the Democratic part, Pelosi isn't leading the Democratic party. Pelosi is on the other side.
The party should unite. Unite under Bernie Sanders. With AOC, Rho Khana, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Maxine Waters, etc. forming the core. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer should step aside or be primaried.

I do understand moderation. But the question of how "far left" the party should swing shouldn't be our focus.
The true threat is just how "far right" the opposition has already swung. Maybe we should be focusing on that during this cycle.

Bernie Sanders is not far left. When your policies are supported by the majority of americans, when the rest of the free world take your policies for granted, you are NOT far left.
Bernie Sanders would be considered center left by pretty much every european country plus Canada plus Australia.

Right enough that Reagan would have to turn to his right and say "wow, you're so far right i can barely see you"
"Maybe we should be focusing on that during this cycle."
Why. That's what Clinton did when she lost. "Look at Trump, he is disgustingly right. You don't want that, right?(no pun intended) Vote for me, doesn't matter what my policies are, I am not so far right as him"
People don't care about labels. Definitely not the ones Democrats rely on to vote for them (ie, the ones that stay home). They want policies that would help them lead a better life. They want the feeling that the one they will vote for will fight for them, not the status quo, not his corporate donors.
Bernie Sanders will get a ton of young voters to vote. Bernie Sanders wins easily in states Clinton lost. Bernie Sanders offers real change which will maybe help with delaying the next Trump that appears in the future. Sanders has been consistent throughout 40+ years of politics which lends credence to his honesty.
People voted for Trump, a known liar, because they took a chance and trusted him whereas Clinton didn't even bother acknowledging americans are hurting. If they believed Trump when he promised them jobs, how do you think they will vote between him and Sanders after 4 years of Trump failing to deliver on each and every one of his campaign promises?

@zahlanzi saidIt seems like you are have difficulty with the concept of the center. A party with only extremists will have great difficulty winning nationwide elections.
