Yes Duchess I know Myanmar is next to the Indian ocean and not the China Sea 🙄
It's still right next to it and China will need allies and such.

Airfields can be built in Myanmar.
Chinese Airforce can use them.

A military controlled country is more likely to help China in the coming war than the former Myanmar government would.

No but they could use the land for airfields and such.
If it came to war over the China Sea the USA would have a dilemma in deciding to bomb Chinese airfields in other countries that are not actually supplying troops and such.
I would build mine right next to civilian cities in other Asian countries and watch the USA figure that one out.
Bomb other countries civilian population to destroy the airfields or not? 🤔
