Now I have to admit, Grilled SPAM with sauteed red onions and a good BBQ sauce isn't a bad lunch. In my younger, single days when money was tight, it did the job.

Neither. I like cooked macaroni with a bit of fresh butter -- in home-grown canned tomato's. Heat until it steams -- then quite a dash of pepper and salt. Yum! (it's a comfort food thingy from my youth)

Home-made stewed tomatos (onion,celery,garlic,rosemary) can be substituted for the regular tomatos.

It's veggi-tarian! Don't tell anyone!😳

Maybe Franco American has changed, but back in the day, their sauce was clumpier, which always made me imagine it wasn't as fresh. It was probably meant to be heated before being served, but who has time to wait for those tasty noodly morsels? For the internet correspondence chess player on the go, it has to be ChefBoyArdee (plain, meatballs, or with sliced franks!)
