If the guy dies (last I heard he'd just had a gunshot wound triggered heart attack) will the VP get arrested for Man-slaughter? Any thoughts?
Hunting accidents happen.
I know they happen here in the Midwest every year. The only difference is that when it happens to Joe lunchbox it’s on the news right quick. The white house blunders another one going out of the way to show the American people how much we don’t matter. More of the same.
The thing that does irk me outright is the fact that the 2nd banana of the Executive branch did not bother to get a stamp for hunting in the first place which I find completely inexcusable and a poor example to the American people. If you don’t know that you need a stamp you really should not be out hunting in the first place…duh. (Oh ya it was on a private ranch so I guess that they can do anything they want because they were born there.)
The DNR officer gave him a warning and cheney sent in the $7 wingwangs….which if it had been me or my mother we would have sent in an $80.00 fine and also the $7.00 for the license. If you asked me it is now open season to hunt without a license because if they are going to give this clown the wave bye on the fine, everyone should be treated the same.

Did you know that you needed the stamp before you got caught?

I guess that I missed the page that says there is a grace period.

We don't get no grace periods. Why have a grace period....did they spring the new law over night? I don't get it.

Originally posted by slimjimI never seem to run into the Cutmesomeslack anyone. If anyone they should have fined him to make an example, although I am sure he feels bad enough shooting a lawyer and all.

Originally posted by slimjimIt all depend on if "at the time" he is sooing for you, or sooing you. By the lawyers billing hours I am sure he was probobly way over 300 years old anyway. I do think that it is a terrible thing for cheney to have to live with such a mistake. I still think they should have fined him though despite what happened.
I don't know. Is it really that bad to shoot a lawyer?😉
