Reports indicate the third pilot was a woman (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/us-army-withholds-name-of-one-black-hawk-soldier-killed-in-dc-collision/ar-AA1ycRGT?ocid=BingNewsSerp), so maybe he thinks women can't fly helicopters as well as men. There's no indication yet which of the three pilots was actually operating the controls when the accident occurred; that's why you have these things called "investigations".
