jesus wasn't a socialist like Bernie Sanders.

Jesus was a downright communist. Jesus was into equal opportunity and equal outcome. Jesus was into free healthcare (i forget the passages in the bible where he asked to see someone's insurance before healing them), into welfare (he fed the poor, he didn't tell them to get a job first), into paying taxes (give the Caesar his dues), against rampant capitalism (how he removed merchants from the temple), into extreme redistribution of wealth (if you have 2 shirts, you only need one, give the second to someone who has none), against the uber wealthy (easier for a camel to pass through a needle than a rich man into heaven). He didn't judge anyone. He said everyone is worthy in the eyes of God, not just citizens of his own country. He said to be kind to travelers and strangers.

He asked god to bless everyone not just America.

So yeah, if, as an american, you're a devout christian and a republican, you're a hypocrite.

Who knew? Apparently Michael Moore does.

Filmmaker Michael Moore says being a Christian is the "same thing" as being a socialist.

Appearing on MSNBC's "Hardball" with Chris Matthews on Wednesday, the liberal activist, who says he voted for self-described socialist Se ...[text shortened]... at everybody gets a slice," Moore added. "Isn't that what Christianity is? That's what she's about."
Yes Whodey, you do have to choose between your religion and your politics.

Take it to spiritualty zahlooney.

A socialist looks at the universe as one big pie, one that they must have for themselves to redistribute as they see fit.
I think your understanding of socialism is equal only to your understanding of quantum gravity on the lightcone, projected upon a spoon falling off a table on to the original texts of Saadi.

And therein lies the problem.
You should discuss things within your comprehension, like shoelaces and masturbation.

Would you then say that socialism/Christianity, are one in the same as Michael Moore?

When Jesus fed the multitude of people with a few fish and a few loaves of bread and they wanted to make him their king, why did he withdraw himself from them? Why not stay and become their king? Why not just continue to give them free food?

I would be pretty unlikely to volunteer that sentence out of the blue. But since you brought it up I wouldn't say that socialism/Christianity are personified by Michael Moore.

Do you find it odd that Jesus did not let the multitude make him their king and be their meal ticket? Why feed them only once and then leave?

Jesus could have been the Bernie Sanders of Judea, so why did he not do it?

I'm asking that if Jesus embraced the socialism/communism that he is accused of embracing, then why did he not live it the way it is presented today?

He obviously had the power to feed and cure everyone, so why did he not do it?

For myself, the message is obvious. Meeting the physical needs of people is a temporal thing. It was done merely to gain their attention so that they could see that their real need was God, the God that can feed them on a whim. Meeting the needs of the people before they came to this realization would be counterproductive. They would then falsely think that they don't need God.

And is this not what we see in socialist leaning countries in northern Europe that have no wants or needs?

Granted, in complete socialist states like Venezuela they are eating out of garbage cans, yet even they probably think all they need is the right political leader and not God.

There is no real justification of political figures in either party, but people like Michael Moore would have us all think differently, all to get the "D" vote.

So you are saying that politics you disagree with are not justified by the Bible.
