Sorry, but this whole concept is new to me. I played here for a year and a half and have taken a long break from this site. (Don't worry, I'm not coming back...I just swing by occasionally, lol)

What do you think about closing threads?

Hmmm...this one will probably get closed soon ;o)

Just an idea. But, I think it was better to just let the mods delete the thread. There is no point, in my opinion, to have it laying there...for everyone to see when you can't post in it (because it was closed for a reason). Isn't this true? Unless I'm just missing something.

Some threads, even though they have managed to become a flame war or total nonsense, may have several useful posts amongst the rubbish. So rather than remove it or attempt to weed out several pages of junk, the moderator may just close it.
