COBB, 1994 Movie

OMG you gotta watch this, itis spellbinding, can't take your eyes off of it.
It is a total work of fiction, unfortunately, Cobb wasn't the monster the writer makes him out to be, but Tommy Lee Jones deserved an Oscar for his over-the-top performance.

C'mon, dude. Ty Cobb was the most hated player in baseball, while also being one of the best.

Stole home 54 times!!! The guy was a freak. Henderson and Brock only had 7 combined.
But everyone knew that Cobb would sharpen his cleats and when stealing, go into the 2nd baseman slashing at his legs.

Good story for ya.
Detroit Tigers, Cobbs team, Playing the Boston Red Sox, in Boston. The catcher for Boston, Mickey Cochran, made plans
with his 2nd baseman and shortstop. When Cobb broke for 2nd on a steal, Cochran would unload the ball
and aim for Cobbs head, and for the fielders to let the ball go through. Sure enough, Cobb attempted a steal
on his first trip to first. Cochran threw the ball and hit Cobb right in the head. Cobb was wheeled off on a stretcher.
