The modern politician avoids any confrontation. They give interviews on whatever network will ask them softball questions.
A modest proposal.... Senators are elected. Then, once elected, they should all go in front of a hostile panel of fellow senators and get grilled on their position for a few hours. Ask them about porn and past relationships and CRT etc. Get these goons on the record.
I think we'd have more honest politicians if we force their feet to the fire. How do we get this to happen?
