Surely no one on last night’s stellar array suits you as a president. Take Warren, she bashed rich people....yet,she is a rich person. Surely this is bed-wetting fodder.

Confusion reigns!

No "bribery" mentioned, no "quid pro quo" mentioned in the articles. Imagine that? Looks like the smells were lying all along LOL! Like I needed proof.

Indeed, if these articles are approved, this will be the first presidential impeachment in history in which no statutory crimes are even alleged.

And what is it with this "contempt of congress"? It's a crime to hate those Nazis? LOL. Just so y'all will know, the Supreme Court had already agreed to try the case of whether such a charge is constitutional (or possible?).

The third article of Nixon's impeachment alleged the same thing as the second article of Trump's:

" In refusing to produce these papers and things Richard M. Nixon, substituting his judgment as to what materials were necessary for the inquiry, interposed the powers of the Presidency against the the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, thereby assuming to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the sole power of impeachment vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives."

https://watergate.info/impeachment/articles-of-impeachment

Article one doesn't mention specific statutory crimes (which is a mistake IMO), but the Judiciary Committee Report alleges that Trump violated both 18 USC sec. 201 (Bribery) and 18 USC sec 1346 (Honest Service Fraud). https://rules.house.gov/sites/democrats.rules.house.gov/files/CRPT-116hrpt346.pdf pp. 120-127

Of course, the House could have (and should have IMO) also mentioned multiple other crimes committed by Trump including the campaign finance violation and conspiracy he directed regarding payments to silence individuals before the 2016 election, obstruction of justice regarding the Mueller investigation, etc. etc. etc.

This brings up a memory of something Michelle Obama told us while her husband was in office, and the USA was in a downward spiral, the economy was bad..
She tells us, it's time to tighten our belts, we all need to take a smaller piece of the pie.
We look around, and wonder just where we can make these cuts, how do we make our piece of the pie smaller? While we are watching her take ski trips to Aspen, and he heads a separate direction to play golf.. How small was her piece of the pie. Is it even larger now? Lol, of course it is.

serving in a political office was never meant to be a full time occupation. it was an honor to serve to serve your country. Now it has become a spring board to further the wealth..

Maybe the reason why the impeachment did not include "all those other crimes" that Trump committed is because there aren't any. They are all a perception brought to you by fist-shaking liberal haters and the democrat controlled MSM.
