The problem with “conspiracy” theories is that they are used to polarise the facts.

Believe that Oswald did not act alone in JFK assassination 70% - he didn’t act alone, but was he the only shooter? Either way it’s a conspiracy

A lot of conspiracy films contain deliberately false information to mislead people into discrediting themselves. Like the debt based monetary system for example. No such thing.

Nice try putting the Russian cullusion in with the others. Are you hoping for someone here to change their mind regarding whether this a witch hunt/conspiracy theory? People are either trusting Trump or not.

Secondly, given the high conspiracy theory percentages this must be American numbers.

- Believe that Oswald did not act alone in JFK assassination: Probably true.

- Russians helped install Donald J. Trump as POTUS: Definitely true.

- Space aliens coming to earth: They've been with us all along, now they're trying to figure out how in the hell to get out of here!

- Believe US government knew 9/11 attacks were coming: Probably had an idea, because of monitored chatter, but no specifics.

- "Birtherism": Donald J. Trump's vehicle of hatred. Though it's lost steering and brakes, it continues to careen through "low-information" states like Alabama.

- "Truthers": Folks fixated upon folk-tales and exaggerations in order to give meaning to otherwise miserable lives.

- Manned lunar landing was staged: One of mankind's greatest technological achievements. Its fact has been disputed, without evidence, by falsifiers; propagandists and the mentally ill. The conspiracies were likely instigated by jealous "Cold War" enemies.

80% of Americans believe in God, yet this is not ever called a conspiracy theory.

Why is it that aliens visiting Earth can be considered a conspiracy theory but not God?
