Putin already agreed to the cease-fire. So what probably happened is Trump had a chat with Putin, who agreed, then Trump gets on the media and threatens Putin will sanctions etc [knowing that Putin already agreed]. So when the news break of Putins agreement, Trump supporters will say ... "See !! Trump is the man!!"

Why should Putin fold? He got several nice presents without giving anything, not even a signal that he would accept a cease-fire.

Trump says we will see what will happen, a lot. You and Trump and I see the picture as it is. We know patience is the rule. One among us thinks that Trump should accomplish everything immediately, that, 50 days has been too long.
Good results generally take time. Russia and China need us more than we need them.
Yeah, irony. It is hard to find a schtick to geehaw with Sonhouse, trying that one now. I would go ahead and pretend to dislike Trump, except that I would not want Donald to find out about it. ( I call him donald myself).
