Only fans of Sven Bianchiesque country 'music' need die.
Define 'proper'.

What the researchers fail to note is that the connection may be the opposite: people who are prone to suicide may also enjoy listening to country music.

Johnny Cash, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Wanda Jackson, etc. etc. All great, amazing stuff. I can't see how anyone would want to commit suicide listening to such gorgeous music...

Toby Keith, on the other hand... I could be persuaded to gargle a revolver... Such is the case for any genre of music - there's good and then there's bad and then there's just plain ugly.

Okay, I can dig Cash for sure, not really into the rest though.

I think some of the best "country" music is by people you would never expect doing it. I'll give a couple of examples. Dire Straits "How Long" comes to mind. I forget which album it is on. Also, Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" is a classic that never got a whole lot of attention. Not a bad song on the whole album.

For the greater good/your own good/good of society, country music must be banned.

You are seriously weird.
I'm not going to say what you seriously are, except that it ends in "y". Sure there are other types of music available, but you blokes still like to listen to music that sounds like a "Star Wars" theme park...Keep dancing with "Steve".....
