Covid Lockdown and Identity Theft

Looks like Oklahoma is experiencing quite a bit of identity theft. I got a letter yesterday telling me how much unemployment payments I will be receiving. Problem is that I am not unemployed and I never applied for unemployment. I called the unemployment number put in my Social Security number but did not know the pin. Nice.

Lots of other teachers in the state have the same experience, at least 3 others at my school. There must be hundreds in the state.

Turns out a pharmacist friend of ours got an unexpected unemployment check in the mail.

Any other states experiencing this kind of covid lockdown identity theft?
