@metal-brain saidLook at the links.
Age of population does not have any effect on the case rate.
All states and nations have cities.
Temperature makes no difference. Florida had a rough summer.
Moisture levels make little or no difference. Arizona has about the same case rate as Michigan.
Every single thing on your list is bunk.
The gene vaccines do not stop or slow the spread. Stop living in denial.
It is not gene vaccines, no matter how often you say it.
The most vaccinated countries do not have the highest rates of corona, no matter how often you say it.
Unvaccinated people are the group spreading the disease most, no matter how often you disagree.
Unvaccinated people are the people getting sickest, being hospitalised and dying from covid, no matter how long you stick you head in the sand for.
On every single point you are wrong. Always and everytime.
You have an agenda. I don’t know why, nor do I care. But you are constantly wrong on this issue.
I even gave you RIVM’s findings. I pointed you in the right direction on Israel. And still you cling to untruths and short pieces of information totally out of context, just so everything fits the frame you want or need it in.
You are just completely wrong. And spew your lies and disinformation in thread after bloody thread.
You are a disgusting waste of time and energy.
@shavixmir saidYour US news article is not a list of the fully vaccinated. If it was Israel would be on the list.
It is not.
There are countries that have less covid. That part is true. But there are many factors that contribute to that:
Age of population.
Population density.
Active measures taken to curb infection rates.
Average temperature.
Average moisture levels.
Etc.
To simplify matters to the extent you want, to fit the framing you want, is complete ignorance of what’s ...[text shortened]... rates:

The first link you posted is not per capita and the second is. That will not do. You are trying to mislead people on here.
@metal-brain saidNo it isn't.
If that is true why do the most vaxxed countries have the most cases?
It isn't a trick question. Either you can explain it or you cannot.
Here's a list of countries with the highest percentage of their population vaccinated: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/world/covid-vaccinations-tracker.html
The most vaccinated country, the UAE, has 5,257 active cases out of a 10 million population or 1 in 2000. Notably, its 95% vaccination rate is 8 points higher than the next country.
The 2nd most vaccinated country, Portugal, has 30,501 cases out of its 10 million population or 1/330. By contrast, the US which is far down the list, has almost 10 million cases or 1/33 of its population.

Your oft-repeated, though never supported claim that "the most vaxxed countries have the most cases", is false.
@no1marauder saidWRONG!
No it isn't.

Your NYT article is not of the fully vaccinated. You are doing the same thing as shav did. Stop trying to mislead people.
@metal-brain saidIt has the percentage of fully vaccinated in the 2nd column.
WRONG!

Malta 707 active cases out of 443,000 population; one in 625.
Singapore 20,203 active cases out of 5.9 million; one in 295.
Etc. etc. etc.
Your screeching when you are shown to be wrong is amusing.

@no1marauder saidYou might want to notice the per capita column in your second link.

The NYT link only stays up for a few seconds without a subscription. Provide a more stable link.

@metal-brain saidNo need; I can do the calculation of active cases per capita quite easily.

The NYT article is staying up just fine for me and I don't have a subscription.

Then you may have noticed Israel had 137,848 cases per 1M of population.
@metal-brain saidIceland: 359 active cases out of 344,000.

All that that article shows is that the onset of the Delta variant caused an uptick in cases in many countries, not just ones with high rates of vaccination. However, the present data shows over and over and over again what the scientific studies do; that vaccination limits the spread of COVID.

@metal-brain saidIsrael is about 30th in vaccination rate, well below most European countries.

Nonetheless, it presently has 45,000 active cases or about 1/200 of its population.
@no1marauder saidFully vaccinated or partially vaccinated?
